Upgrading from version 2.7.1942 does not reboot using the new system
If you have version 2.7.1942 you will not be able to upgrade to later versions using the web interface. The upgrade process will complete successfully, will present the option to reboot to the new system, but after reboot you will still be running the old system. To fix this situation, you need to apply this patch from the “unsupported shell” while the storage has internet connectivity:
/usr/bin/wget -q -O- http://private.syneto.net/p/public_files/fix-storage-update-2.7.sh | /usr/bin/bashAfter applying this patch, reboot the storage normally and the system will start using the latest version. If your storage is not connected to the internet, or if the patch does not fix the issue, please contact our technical support.
