Technical Support Engineer

For our office in Timisoara, we are looking for a new colleague who will:

  • Evaluate, troubleshoot and follow-up on customer issues while tracking details
  • Identify, replicate, and document customer reported product defects and enhancement requests
  • Implement workarounds if applicable
  • Write online documentation, such as FAQ’s and knowledge base articles

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Unix or Linux
  • Knowledge of IP routing and switching technologies
  • Knowledge of IP protocols (SMTP, HTTP, NTP, SNMP)
  • Good reading and writing skills in English
  • Good communication skills

The following would be an advantage:

  • VPN technologies knowledge (IPSec, PPTP, OpenVPN)
  • Italian language
  • Customer service skills
